ConVirt 2.0 Open Source is a fully open source, GPL licensed product, which you can download and start using for free. Our online resources and active community are great resources for getting you started with virtualization management. In addition, you can choose from two support options - Incident-based Support and the Silver Support Package - that give you access to our team of highly trained engineers equipped to handle your technical questions and issues. Both support options give you access to a private online space that organizes all communications about each incident, tracks its status, and creates a persistent, documented record of the issue resolution.



Below are the brief descriptions of the support options available for ConVirt 2.0 Open Source users.

Community Support: is a collection of free resources that accompany the ConVirt 2.0 Open Source product. Online help is there to guide you, as well as user documentation, an installation manual, and a selection of developer guides. You'll find continuously updated "HOW TOs" and "FAQs" on our group-editable community wiki. And you can get answers and technical tips from other ConVirt users on the free community Forums.

Incident-based Support: is a flexible, "pay-as-you-go" support option. An incident is defined as a single product issue or question, regardless of the number of communications required to resolve it. You can buy individual incidents, which are good for one year from date of purchase. Incident-based support gives you a guaranteed initial response within 48 hours.

Silver Subscription Package: is an annual subscription that includes a package of services to ensure you use the full power of ConVirt 2.0 Open Source and have the fastest path to success. The Silver Support Package includes:
  • Up to 15 online support incidents during the one-year subscription period
  • Guaranteed initial response within 24 hours
  • Indemnification
  • Quick-Config toolset - a set of streamlined and tested tool packages that let you quickly and conveniently configure ConVirt against certified platforms
  • A dedicated repository of all certified product releases, patches and upgrades
