Arsalan Farooq - CEO & Founder

Arsalan brings over 15 years of systems management experience to his role as the CEO of Convirture. Previously, he was the founding Director of the Application Service Level Management (ASLM) division at Oracle, where he was responsible for all aspects of market strategy and product development. Under his leadership, ASLM grew from a two person engineering team into a high-performance, multi-national organization spearheading Oracle's entry into the Applications Management space.

Prior to founding ASLM, Arsalan held various management roles at Oracle, where he helped deliver multiple generations of the Oracle Enterprise Manager product suite. Arsalan started his career as a multimedia software designer at Knowledge Adventure and as the founder of his own technology consultancy firm while still in college.

Arsalan holds degrees in Theoretical Physics and Computer Science from Reed College and Caltech respectively.

Jaydeep Marfatia - EVP Engineering & Founder

Jaydeep is responsible for all aspects of product development at Convirture. He brings a wealth of industry experience to his current role, including over 10 years in systems management. Prior to co-founding Convirture, Jaydeep held a senior engineering management position in the ASLM division at Oracle, and was one of the principal architects of the Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g product suite.

Jaydeep holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

John Combs - Advisor

John brings more than 40 years of experience in the communications industry, including senior positions in sales and operations at leading organizations such as Bell System, Fujitsu Business Communications, Mitel Inc. and Nextel before becoming CEO at three consecutive companies. Most recently, John was the Chairman and CEO of Grid-Net, which develops a network operating system for the smarter electrical grid. Prior to this, he was Chairman and CEO of ShoreTel, which he took public after growing revenues from under $20 million to nearly $200 million in annual run rate in just six years. His success came from his unrelenting focus on customer satisfaction and his ability to bring teams together to achieve exceptional results.

Glenn Winokur - Advisor

Glenn is Managing Director of Emerson Street Partners, an advisory services and seed stage investment firm that helps entrepreneurs and VCs incubate new technology companies, as well as accelerate growth of existing ones. Prior to launching Emerson Street Partners, Glenn spent over 20 years in key operating roles in a number of software companies including CEO of Scalix, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of NetIQ, and executive sales and business developmentroles at several Frame Technology (now Adobe), Documentum (now EMC) and Ingres.
